Yesterday I spoke with my roommate about the topic that I choose in the classroom. It was about what are some important qualities of a good roommate? I had two roommates before her and we all got along together too. My roommate and I speak a lot and we do things sometimes together, she is very nice and very busy because her major is Biology and mine is full time in English so we don’t have a lot of to see or spend time together as her, we have always class in the morning and in the afternoon but we go out sometimes in the weekend or we watch movies together at two to four in the morning. She is very kind with me and I’m going to miss her at the end of the semester. My roommate and I agreed that it’s not easy to share a room because our room is little so there’s no kitchen or common room and all my floor mate and us have to share the same bathroom so this is the big problem so we were complaining about that but my room is big comparing to another’s room and I have a view from Richmond so we have always some people in our room, then I can say that I’m lucky. We talked about the important thing and it was that to communicate, to understand each other and we help each other too per example last Monday, I couldn’t sleep in my room because our floor mate commit a suicide so I was scared and I went to sleep in my ex-roommate’s room so she decided to call my roommate to come and it was two thirty a.m at this time and she asked me why I didn’t call her, I just said that because I didn’t want to disturb her and then she slept in our room. To share the room with someone is not easy but if you try to understand the person with who you live and communicate each other it will be easier, so for someone like me who are alone here I prefer to have a roommate because I won’t think a lot of my hometown.
