Yes, I have one friend here at VCU from Mali. She used to be in ElP too but she done now and she’s taking Academic Classes now. We are Just two students Malian at VCU.

Yes, and it always interesting for me. They ask me always how is my culture such as my family and if my culture’s low or high context and also about the weather and the way we dress. If I say that it’s always hot in my country, they told me that they wanna go there. But I have a lot of friends around the campus who are studying International things so they know a little bit about Africa.

It is so wonderful that you feel comfortable approaching different people.  Do they ever ask you about Mali?  It could be interesting to see what they know about your country.
